APRCE 2026 Tokyo: A Strategic Opportunity for Indonesian Retail to Connect and Grow at the Asia-Pacific Level
The Asia-Pacific Retailers Convention & Exhibition (APRCE) 2026 will be held on October 7–10, 2026, in Tokyo, Japan. As the most prestigious retail forum in the Asia-Pacific region, APRCE serves as a key platform for industry players to gain insights into global retail developments while expanding cross-border business networks.
This year, APRCE will feature more than 60 distinguished international speakers and approximately 35 global companies participating in the Retail Expo Tokyo 2026 — making it one of the most comprehensive editions in APRCE history.
Indonesia is proud to be part of this global stage. Ryan Alfons Kaloh, Marketing Director of Alfamart (a member of APRINDO), has been confirmed as one of the speakers at APRCE 2026 Tokyo. His participation reflects the growing recognition of Indonesia’s retail industry at the regional level and highlights the country’s capability to contribute to global retail discourse.
APRCE is more than just a conference. It is a strategic platform to:
- Gain insights on retail transformation, omnichannel strategies, and evolving consumer behavior
- Explore the latest innovations through the Retail Expo
- Build high-level connections with industry leaders, global brands, and retail associations across the region
In an increasingly dynamic and competitive landscape, access to global knowledge and networks is critical. APRCE provides both — within a single, integrated ecosystem.
For Indonesia, participation in APRCE also carries strategic importance. As a member of the Federation of Asia-Pacific Retailers Associations (FAPRA) and currently serving as Vice Chairman, APRINDO continues to encourage active engagement from its members in international forums. A strong Indonesian delegation will further strengthen the country’s position within the Asia-Pacific retail landscape.
Furthermore, the close relationship between APRINDO and the Japan Retailers Association — strengthened through various collaborations, including the strong participation of Japanese delegates at APRCE 2022 in Jakarta—provides a solid foundation for deeper bilateral cooperation in the retail sector.
APRCE 2026 Tokyo presents a concrete opportunity for Indonesian retailers to:
- Learn directly from global best practices
- Unlock new collaboration and expansion opportunities
- Strengthen their position in the regional market
Participation in APRCE is not merely about keeping up with trends—it is about becoming part of the transformation.
